Background: Congenital Hyperinsulinism (CHI) is characterised by dysregulated and excess secretion of insulin leading to severe hypoglycaemia. Monitoring of glucose levels is essential in this condition as prolonged hypoglycaemia can cause life-threatening complications such as permanent neurological impairment.
